落米のおそれあり


｢落石のおそれあり｣という道路標識がある。

沖縄では、その｢落石｣よりも高い確率で、米軍関連の落下事件が起こっている。

作品は｢落石のおそれあり｣の形式を用い、4つの落石の部分に、それぞれ

｢パラシュート訓練、イーグル戦闘機、シャーマン戦車、ヘリコプター｣

をデザインしたものを配置し、山の部分には星条旗のデザインを施した。

これは、アメリカの殺人道具が、爆音を出して日常的に頭上を徘徊する……という

桁外れに恐ろしい沖縄の現実に最低限必要なサインである。

数箇所ではあるが、この｢落米のおそれあり｣は、“理解者”によって沖縄の家やビルに設置されている。

There is a Japanese road sign 'There is fear of a falling rock'.

I changed a falling rock part of the design to a U.S. Armed Forces motifs

and a mountain part to the American flag.

U.S. Armed Forces problems occur frequently in Okinawa

and especially 'falling accident' have been caused serious problem.

The work 'There is fear of a falling Americar' promotes attention to it.

When my solo show was held in Okinawa, I advertised to visitors for a place to fix it.

And after he show, I could install some places in Naha city, Okinawa.
